Denim is a classic shade, texture and material that has been timeless for years and years. It remains to be a popular fabric season after season and outlasts all trends that come and go throughout fashion. I grew up wearing denim blue jeans and as I grown up I’ve become drawn to denim blue tops, jackets, dresses like this one and even shoes like these all in the classic denim shade.
Denim has maintained it’s versatility and wearability. It even continues to transform into new pieces like bags, sweaters and jackets. Which makes a denim blue button down shirt, a denim jacket, or denim dress closet staples that outlast just one season like some pieces we all know so well and cringe when dug out of the back of the closet.
This denim dress has become one of those simple summer dresses that I can pair with sneakers, sandals, wedges, heels or espadrilles like I did here. I rarely travel without a denim jacket where it’s often layered over a simple white tee, a maxi dress or a tank top. Although denim has evolved over time from bell bottom jeans, to skinny jeans to ripped and distressed, denim remains a staple in my closet like most and also a comfortable favorite.
