One thing I try to always do at the start of a new week is pamper and refresh my skin. Sunday evenings have become a relaxing routine where I like to refresh my skin for the week ahead. While a lot of our health comes from what we put in our bodies I believe taking care of our skin is a must for a long lasting youthful look. I’ve tried tons of different products over the years and have identified my favorites, but I always welcome a new brand or line into my skincare routine. One brand in particular that I’d been dying to try is Sisley-Paris. I’d heard great things about Sisley-Paris but never tried them myself. Since Sisley-Paris was a new brand for me I thought I’d share my thoughts with you all!
The first thing I tried from Sisley-Paris was the Nutritive Lip Balm. I always aim to drink plenty of water on a daily basis in order to stay hydrated but my lips tend to need an extra boost especially as the temps begin to drop. Sisley-Paris lip balm has exceptional repairing benefits that act as a protective film against the environment including cold, wind and sun. After lathering up, my lips felt more nourished and rehydrated. This little jar of lip balm packs a punch and quickly found a home in my bag.
Being someone who regularly attempts to hide dark circles and always looking to minimize fine lines around the eyes, I knew I had to try the Sisley Paris Eye Contour Mask. Since the skin around the eyes is the most delicate area it’s important to keep it hydrated and not use harsh ingredients. The Eye Contour Mask contains a unique combination of plant-based active ingredients and vitamins that act as a natural defense that allows the skin to appear more rested and youthful. The fresh scent from the natural ingredients was an added benefit. After just 10-15 minutes my under eye felt smooth, de-puffed and with continued use I’m confident my dark circles will be visibly reduced.
Sisley-Paris’s Black Rose Cream Mask is a cream mask specifically formulated to instantly rejuvenate the skin, fight signs of fatigue and give it that extra hydration that it so desperately needs after a long week (it’s also scented with rose and smells amazing!). The rich active anti-aging ingredients like black rose, padina pavonica, and alkekengi calyx extract immediately begin to work on signs of fatigue and leaves your skin looking youthful and energized. In just 15 minutes the mask begins to soften and hydrate—to restore a luminous complexion we all wish we woke up with. I’m keeping this mask in my skincare routine so stay tuned as I continue to use it more regularly. I’ve also been wanting to try this mask and this oil.
As I mentioned in the first product review, my lips always need an extra boost of hydration. So when I found out that Sisley-Paris Phyto-Lip Twist is a tinted lip balm I was eager to test it out. I use tinted lip balms during the work day since they’re easy to reapply and don’t dry out like other lip stains. Plus I feel more confident in a tinted lip balm especially when I’m in a professional environment 5 days out of the week. This pinkish-red hue is easily a subtle everyday shade since it’s not too red yet not too pink. It’s a perfect shade to swipe on and go. I’m also swooning over this shade and this shade that I need to get my hands on soon.
